If you want a fast way to meet a lot of people in one night, Speedy Dating offers you a classic speed dating format. You will have three minutes with around 15 different daters. At the end, you pick your top three and drop them into Cupid's box, and then get a text afterwards if the interest is mutual. It is strictly for 20s and 30s, and tends to draw a mix of first-timers and open-minded singles. The trade-off with any speed dating event is that three minutes goes fast, so you are relying on gut feel more than depth.
